Features

Third Oreck, best one so far.

I waited a while before posting a review to make sure everything was OK. This is my third Oreck (had previously purchased less expensive units) and pretty happy with this one. The only problem, it is a bit difficult to vacuum thick carpeting, thus 4 stars instead of 5. If I recall, there is an attachment for high pile carpets and will have to contact seller to see if memory serves me correctly.

Excellent suction and the edge cleaner is fantastic. The two-speed option on this unit is a plus when vacuuming bare floors. Will be moving shortly and the new place has thick carpeting throughout, so will update review after trying it out there.

Good lightweight vacuum

Both this for my mom, she wanted something lighter, this was an excellent choice. Not having extra attachments does have its downside, but she wanted an Oreck, the lighter the better for her age.

Light weight vacuum with 2 speed suction!

Awesome vacuum cleaner for hardwood floors and carpet. It made my short pile carpet look new and is so light-weight and easy to use. I use low power on hardwood and tile floors and high on carpet. I love the 2 speed feature! Also, this vacuum works well for cleaning underneath most beds!!
