Voice activation works like a charm but it has to be in line of sight.

Loved it. Works well as expected and has both a clip and a watch like mount.

Voice activation works like a charm. Worth the monies if distance recording is a part of your regular schedule.

Both the button and voice activation work when the controller is used within 33 feet of the camera. The signal does need a direct line of sight -- meaning that you can’t start a recording while the camera is in an entirely different room, for example.

Great Add-On. Definitely a must

bought this a few days ago and since then I love it. I would take my dogs to the dog park and would forget to start recording my video. so the added convenience of being able to tell the remote to start recording my GoPro is a +1 for me. the distance the remote reaches my go pro is great. I haven't fully tried the full distance for the remote to work reach the GoPro but so far it is amazing. Have not dealt with any issues so far since I had it. I definitely like the wrist holder versus the clip since I run a lot it would fall out sometimes. I would definitely recommend this remote for GoPro users.
