I bought this product after researching many alternatives. I have been very pleased with it. It is a well thought out piece of equipment for astronomers. Lots of nice features. And it will power most scopes through a night of observing. I do however recommend getting the NOCO Genius G1100 smart charger (also sold by Amazon), to avoid problems with dead batteries that others have experienced. You can leave the unit plugged into this charger indefinitely, and it won't overcharge or permit the battery to drain down.

To clear up a lot of confusion that I had around this product here is exactly what it all comes with. (1) the power tank itself (2) a car/cigarette plug for your telescope power (3) a charging plug that plugs into the wall for the tank. I ended up purchasing a few extra cables because the product listing was not clear enough and that honestly made me upset. Regardless, this product is amazing and works for hours in the cold, with a red light and a white flashlight I can choose whether or not to destroy my night vision!

Been using this for about three months, and it's been a great asset. Not only have I used it to power my CPC-11 telescope for several nights in a row without recharging, I've used it to jump start my riding lawn mower on multiple occasions. Lights are powerful, and the USB port is convenient. I've not had any problems plugging the "cigarette lighter" adaptor into either receptacle, as others have mentioned. The one and ONLY issue I have had (and the reason for only 4 stars) is the charging sequence. The red LED indicating the unit is in "charge" mode stays on even when the green "charged" LED comes on, and it stays on for almost a minute AFTER the unit is switched to "off" and/or the AC adaptor is unplugged. I would expect the red LED to toggle on and off once the battery is fully charged. The Greed LED is also quite dim compared to the RED one, which is admaittedly a very minor issue. So, for what it's designed to do, this Power Tank is a wonderful product - and highly recommendable!
