Bits seem to love itBy C
I have a collection of pet bits that I keep on my hard drive. Every day, they ask me if they can go out and play with the rest of the bits. I have Comcast, so on the few days when I can say 'yes', I like them to have a nice smooth ride. This cable doesn't have gold-plated contacts, a diamond-studded jacket, or ten layers of shielding, but my bits seem to love it all the same.
In all seriousness, a cat5 cable only needs to provide a certain level of noise rejection (via twisting the pairs) and conductivity, and if it does, everything else is moot. This cable seems to fit the bill just fine, and is an excellent value.
Although there are cheaper cat5e cables on Amazon, I think that anything cheaper than this begins to sacrifice quality in unacceptable ways. The snagless ends are well-designed and survived a rough trip getting jammed through a too-small hole already populated by another cable, but don't make it difficult to depress the 'catch' for removal from a jack like some snagless ends do ... they are very soft & flexible, but still more effective than some of the 'tougher' feeling ends on my other cables. The jacket seems to be flexible and tough, and didn't break when I accidentally kinked the cable fairly tightly while running it across my house. I can feel the twists of the twisted pairs through the outer jacket, and while I didn't actually count the twists per inch, my 'gut feel' is that they were at least as high as any other cat5e that I've used, so I expect good performance.
My only gripe is the packaging - at 100ft, I wish it came on some kind of a spool, instead of just looped up inside of a box. My copy didn't have wire ties or anything holding it in a loop, but the box was pretty solid and seemed to keep it reasonably well coiled. I accidentally tangled mine while running it, but given the price (and that I'll only ever have to unspool it once), I suppose it's not that big of a deal.

Great cable great priceBy Thor
I got this cable because I was tired of the crappy Comcast wifi messing up on an almost daily bases thanks to 2.5ghz running with 5.0ghz, the perminint hotspot we can't seem to turn off and wifi traffic within our home. Switched to this Cat5e 100 foot cable and pretty much eliminated all connection problems when I had my equipment on wifi.
I currentily have it hooked up to the Comcast gateway service modem and up to my netgear 5 port switch. Streaming video (netflix YouTube etc.) is pretty much lag free and internet speeds & download are double with pretty much 0 load time. The length seems like 100 feet because it was able to reach the service modem and my switch even with the cord tucked behind all the furniture and It's got plenty of length to spare.

Wanted to setup wired connection to my playstations and to the tv and this cable was just what i was looking for. Ran it from the opposite side of my apartment with good 20 feet to spare.
