it really is a great tripod at a good price

-You Get a photography and video head (thats actually useful not just a throw-in)

I looked up tons of tripods and there wasn't many videos on this one except one where the guy liked it but something was wrong i gambled (not really amazon is the Shizz) and bought it and then i bought it again

i dont write reviews but i was more then happy with this tripod and the head that comes with this set has pan and tilt tension and separate locks and has smooth movements no jerking etc. For the tripod itself it is light, stable and strong i put 20 pounds on to make sure the legs wouldn't start sliding and the heads would stay up ... it all worked as promised i was debating between this and the others that look the same with mostly the same features but cost more and with this neewer kit you get both heads if your comparing this with others in this range you won't regret it I've already bought a second one

Light, Sturdy and Inexpensive.

I love this tripod. It is light and solid and comes with both a video head and ball head. Carbon fiber legs as well. Some people do not like the twist style legs and I admit I prefer my Manfrotto tripods in this regard, but it is a small price to pay for such good quality at a great price.

The one negative is the release plate: when screwing it into my camera, the half ring that you use to turn the screw would fall back down when I let go of it between turns. A quick fix was to put a drop of super glue at each hinge joint and then move it a little as the glue dried. Now it stays in place when up and folds down when its attached.
