Nice Vacuum - Be sure you know which model you are ordering

First off I will say that I really like the vacuum. It works well so far. That said, I wanted to write a review that clarifies the description. Apparently there are two PU3650 models. One with the LCD read out and inlet on the unit, another without the utility inlet on the unit and no LCD. I purchased based on the description.

What I received (after a month of waiting due to back order for an "in stock" item) was the model that didnt have the LCD and utility inlet as the item is described. It did have a T for the piping that allowed me to plumb an inlet in the garage. So rather than hassle with the return, etc. I decided to try it out.

Seems to work good and I like the functionality. Was disappointed with the Amazon description being different than the item received.

The cost doesn't stop after the purchase.

I just had this item installed. I had no idea when i purchased the item that after so many hours(65?) of use a bar on the LED window would appear. After, I think after the fourth bar appears, or for us about every year and a half, you have to have an electrolux repair person come to you home and do the service. Or in my case, I will have to uninstall the item and bring it in to them. Only an electrolux person can do the repair and reset the big MAINTENANCE message on the led screen. The reason I bought the electrolux was because it replaced another electrolux that I purchased and ran solid for 27 years. Whats wrong with this picture? Seems like a racket to me! I just hope this thing doesn't just shut down on me after the fourth bar.

Poor customer service

Worked great for 7 months and then stopped working. Customer service has been a nightmare. Took unit to one of their approved repair centers who charged $25 diagnostic fee and subsequently $100 service fee to come to my house. Still doesn't work. Called back to Electrolux and they recommended I take to another service center 2 hours from my home. I called them and they do not come to our area. I refuse to take the device to another service center at my cost as I have already been to one of their service centers. Very disappointed in customer service.
