I'm amazed. Buy this view finder!By therealJZ
I don't often write reviews for items i buy, but this view finder DESERVES one. I wear glasses all the time so filming on my Canon 70D is very difficult. To solve lighting and focusing issues with my footage, i decided to try this viewfinder after reading reviews and checking out something similar at school (the Canon XC10 with an attachable Canon view finder). I must say, this view finder works even better. Here's why.
The rubber eye piece is quite large, but in a GOOD way. I can fit the entire right lens of my glasses into the eye piece with some room to spare, which is great for people with larger framed glasses. Even with my glasses on, the viewfinder blocks out the sun and i can see clearly with absolutely no problem. Before, i was primarily relying on auto-focus for my video footage but now, manual focusing is a breeze. To me, this is a miracle.
One thing i was worried about was the box of the viewfinder scratching the LCD screen on my camera. I was very relieved to see that Kamerar kept this in mind for the design. The edge of the viewfinder box which makes contact with your LCD screen is rubber so there is no need to worry about scratching your screen.
The only draw back is that the viewfinder does not pivot. It only has one position so you often have to bend down to look through your camera. Not too big of a deal really.
The construction is very durable and is not made of cheap, flimsy plastic. I really like the magnetic release, which is surprisingly strong, so no need to worry about anything becoming loose or coming apart while shooting. It is very easy to adjust and position over your LCD screen, which can be done with adjusting three screws with an allen wrench (included).
And the price. Wow. If i knew how well this view finder worked, I would've paid twice as much. If i break it somehow, im buying another.

Good but not perfect!By Chris Childress
It does what I need it to, however my concerns are that the diopter doesn't seem to adjust ANYTHING and eyepiece is kind of hard to remove from the magnetic base many times. Things I DO like include: Fitment is pretty good on my Canon 5DMKII (no kind of modification needed and I can still access my buttons), I love that it doesn't take hardly anything to set up, doesn't come with a ton of pieces, it's lightweight and VERY comfortable on the eye! I'm giving 3 stars because it's annoying trying to remove the eye piece and that the diopter seems cheap and I can't see ANY different when rotating it.

Great Product, but not perfect for Nikon D750By Scott S.
Very nice product. I read another review elsewhere that stated this product fit perfectly on a Nikon D750. NOT TRUE. However, a slight modification allows it to work with the D750. I had to added a small washer between the plate and the camera, then get a slightly longer screw for tightening. I also noticed it's not so easy to open up the hinge. Perhaps it will get easier with more experience using it. Overall, a great product for the price point.
