Just Love This Action Camera!By Danielle Royalegacy
[[VIDEOID:c492c07a323b65c71da551d5c86d803d]] This is my first action camera. I am quite thrilled with it. I don't know how all the little bells and whistles work, but I am learning.
The video is spectacular! It is so much better than my little compact camera. That's the main reason why I got this camera. I wanted a good video camera. I like that I can set it to different angles, 170°, 140°, 110°, and 70°. Right now, I have only worked with it on the 170° setting. I can do time lapse, loop recording. It has WDR (dynamic contrast) to give me the best looking picture possible, and it does work. It can go underwater, in its little underwater case. It has a night setting for taking pictures at night.
I have taken some still pictures with it, and I like the clarity of them, but I love my big DSLR and will always be using that for still pics.
The back screen is very clear. I can see what I am taking pictures of with ease.
Love the little voice that comes on when I start a video and when I end a video. It tells me that a video has started, and when it has ended.
Love the fact that this camera comes with two batteries! It's always handy to have an extra charged battery on hand when you are taking a lot of pictures. I have found that the batteries do last for over an hour.
This is a very decently priced action camera. I am very happy with the quality. I do have to learn a little more about it. After purchasing the camera, I did get an email from the seller giving me some links to YouTube videos to show me more about all the accessories and how to work with the camera a little more.
The camera does come in a great zippered case. There is molded foam to hold the camera and a lot of the little accessories. There is also a little pouch under the lid of the case to hold other items. I do need to learn how to use all those little accessories!
What I wish was a little better: The User Manual. I just wish that it told you what all the symbols mean on the back screen. I can tell what most of them mean, but I'm not that tech savvy.
I do highly recommend the Apeman 4K Action Camera. It's takes great video, but without that high price tag.

Lots Of Power In A Small PackageBy Dr. SnagglePuss
I've been wanting an action camera for quite some time and decided to finally make the plunge. I'm so glad I did! I have a 4K camera built into my phone but wanted something that can be used under water and be easily mounted to bikes, helmets, etc. This does exactly that.
The first thing you'll want to make sure to pickup is a micro SD card. This camera can support up to a 128GB micro SD card which is plenty for most applications. Once you have that your ready to record! The setup was very easy and the menu was easy to navigate. The manual did a good job of explaining how to switch resolutions, adjust settings, switch modes, etc.
The first thing I noticed upon opening the case is all the accessories you get! My favorite is the waterproof case. It's winter here in PA but I can't wait to film underwater! The other accessories included TWO batteries, and various clips/attachments/bases to mount it in pretty much anything.
The next thing I noticed is how small the actual camera is! I love how it's so compact and lightweight--you completely forget your wearing it. It took a bit less than 3 hours to fully charge each battery and each one will last about an hour shooting in continuous 4K resolution. I love that it came with a spare battery to use while the original charges.
I used it on my previous skiing trip and couldn't be happier with the results. You can choose to record in clips of various length or just record straight through. You can switch between resolutions but I was filming in 4k mode the entire time. When I got home the files were easy to transfer over WiFi but you can also connect it directly to your PC.
When I played back the videos on my LG OLED 4K TV the results were stunning! It actually "popped" and looked almost 3d"ish". I was able to get some great shots with the super wide 170 degree lens. The motion was smooth playing at 24fps and I appreciate the h264 format for great compression. You can get a ton of 4K footage on a 128GB SD card when compressed.
If your in the market for an affordable 4K action camera I can't recommend this one enough. I'm very happy with the performance and all the included accessories. When the summer rolls around I'll update how it works under water. :)

Not a bad GoPro knockoffBy Uncle Crackoon

Pros:
- use any go pro mount
- good value
- decent picture/video
- comes with carrying case and mounting accessories
- easy time lapse setting
- inexpensive extra batteries and charger APEMAN Action Camera Battery Rechargeable Dual 1050mAh and USB Dual battery Charger for Sport Camera and 4k Action Camera
Cons:
- poor image stabilization
- doesn't come with separate battery charger (charge by plugging camera into USB - camera can't be used when battery charging)
- battery life is minimal
As long as you are aware you are getting a camera the has lower image quality and durability than a GoPro then I think you will be happy. I would recommend buying the extra batteries and charger listed in link above so you can recharge while you record.
