Strange colors...

I have two of the same models of Epson projectors with various ages of the lamps that came with them. I bought this lamp to keep as a spare and decided to try it out before i kept it and could no long return it.

I did a side by side comparison of a projector with an original low hours lamp compared to a projector with this lamp in it. This lamp gives the whole image a strange color tint and is significantly dimmer than the original lamps that came with these projectors. I'm not sure if i just got a dud or if these are cheap knock off lamps that don't look good.

The lamp functioned and displayed an image, so if your looking for a cheap alternative, this may work for you, but for me, ill be returning mine. I gave it two stars because it does function, but just isn't right.
