Springy cords, no rubber on bottom

These work great and are a great value. It's a good sound quality for computer speakers, especially for the price. My monitors did not come with speakers built in so these are replacing the awful speaker that is built into the computer. My only complaint is that I have spread them as far apart as the cords will allow to provide separation of the left and right channel and the cords actually spring them back to the center because they are so light weight. There is no rubber on the bottom so they slip very easily on the smooth desk top and the cords are folded over each other into a Z shape instead of rolled so they get dragged back to where they are plugged into the computer until there is no spring left in the cord. I'm amazed how springy they are.

Poor quality

Bought these to replace an identical set that was probably 7 or 8 years old that I gave to someone else. Something must have changed in manufacturing because I've had these die on me even when purchased directly from Dell, but the 8 year old ones have worked perfectly. First set was completely DOA, second set worked, but even at 100% volume it was so low you could barely hear anything. Props to Amazon for free return shipping on both sets, I ordered a cheap set of powered speakers from another brand and they do the job just fine.

Nice for the price.

Worked great, but I was trying to work on Skype as to why there was no sound. Looking at the picture on Amazon I saw the dial on top of the speaker. Something that was missed on the other end.
A picture with arrows and descriptions would have been nice.
But that's really not their fault so they still get 5 stars, it was operator error.
