Pros:
- Very attractive packaging
- Nice design over all
- Comes with a suction cup that works well
- Loop recording works fine
Cons:
- The compression rate is poor: at a 5 min recording sequence, it makes files of 370MB for the front lens and 277MB for the rear facing lens: that is 647MB per 5 minutes
- The rear facing lens is useless when it is dark or at night. You might as well not have one. Day time it takes fairly good videos
- The battery autonomy is poor
- It does not detect when you start moving your car to turn on on its own: it turns on automatically when there is a source of power attached to it.
- I will not trust this device G-Sensor to auto-save the footage in case of a crash since it cannot even detect that the car is parked or is in motion (again, no GPS module purchase, maybe it works if you have the GPS module)
- The clock stops when the device turns off. You will basically have to set the clock each time you get in your car: I did not purchase a GPS module (purposely), I would want to think the manufacturer considered updating the time using the GPS
- Comes with no software to play the video. I tried to use a software that was recommended on one of the review by a user, it simply does not work on windows 10. An added value could be an app to play both videos at the same time on a computer - well there are more concerns to how the device works than this -
