1This filter only causes problems...
By Ashley
I have bought two of these filters and they only work for a few gallons and then they clog, they have also caused my ice maker to sputter and now I only inconsistently get ice, hopefully this will stop eventually. The people posting positive reviews must not have my fridge WRS325FDAM02. Stick with the old blue filters. I find it hilarious how much whirlpool is pushing these overpriced filters, when the old blue filters work fine. My next fridge will not be a whirlpool, I will be sure not to buy one that does not take drop filters. My father in law has also had difficulties since using the new white filters as well. His filter does not even stay locked in the fridge, it just keeps getting ejected from the filter holding mechanism.

1Can't get the new filter to work.
By Amazon Customer
I haven't been able to get this new every drop filter to work. I've had my fridge for about 4 years or so and never had a problem with the filters. I've tried the 5seconds on/off clearing of the line but the water never comes. I switch back to the old filter and no problems. Anyone else have this problem? Are there any other filters that would work? I'm almost ready to replace the entire fridge. (And this time it won't be a whirlpool )

5Battery Life and Rugged
By T. Hoch
I've been a chromebook fan for years. Because we travel a lot I wanted a more ruggedized model. I'm more than happy with this device. And the battery has been lasting for a full 10 hours. Very impressive.

5A worry-free Chromebook
By Luke Hearon
This Chromebook hardly needs another review but I've just been so happy with it lately I thought I'd throw my two cents in here. *For a Chromebook* this device is fantastic. Of course it's limited in many, many ways, but that's the whole point of buying a Chromebook. I've been using this device for a little over half a semester in college for in class note taking, group work, etc. I use my desktop for any heavy duty stuff. It's worth noting that I rollerblade to classes, so I was looking for something as light as possible and as durable as possible.

Pros:
Very sturdy - I've dropped it many times and the worst that has happened is the rubber edging will have to be popped back into place. Simple as that and it feels totally firm and solid once it's back in place. It's great to not have to treat your laptop like the slightest bump could damage it.

Fantastic keyboard - The keyboard has a nice "chunk" with each keystroke. The keys have enough travel and require enough force to avoid accidental keystrokes and typing feels great, even satisfying.

Great battery life - I never bring my charger with me anymore, no matter how long I expect to be out.

Good sunlight readability - The screen does a pretty fine job of reducing strong glare.

Cons:
Weight - Though it's not particularly heavy for a Chromebook, its weight is a significant addition to my backpack. At just over two pounds, however, it's not a huge compromise in return for how durable this machine is.

Sometime slow - As you'd expect. But honestly Chrome does a good enough job of managing resources that I only notice severe lag when opening presentations with many elements in them.

All in all, this Chromebook has exceeded my expectations!

5Full HD Screen with LAN/HDMI/VGA and very portable on the cheap. Great for RDP.
By Douglas Quaid
EDIT: Just doubled the RAM to 8GB using this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CQ35GYE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
All of the screws are visible from the bottom except for the under the two rubber feet on the hinges.

Just received mine today, so first impressions:

Build and finish are fine for the price.

1080p full HD screen. If this is not the reason you are buying it, there may be better options. The screen is GLOSSY and has lots of reflection and glare. Plenty sharp, pretty good viewing angles, but brightness is a little low IMO.

This is no where near ultrabook size/weight, but it is a fairly light laptop that will travel well.

Connectivity! LAN port with lights! VGA! Full size HDMI! USB 3.0 (1), Full size SD reader. Again, if you don't care about the LAN and full size HDMI/VGA, there may be better options.

Keyboard and Trackpad are more than acceptable, maybe even above average IMO. Caps Lock light, Mute light, full size shift keys, dedicated page up/down, Function keys by default (rather than F keys).

There is a fan, and it has been going most of the time I've been using it - not loud or high pitched though. No noticeable heat yet.

Replaceable battery! Its small too, so backups on a trip would be easy to bring. Not sure about battery life yet, but I've been using it unplugged for almost an hour and am at 88%.

Speed? Not so much. Will need more time, but I'm certain this is akin to all things "netbook 2.0", though 4gb of RAM is better than some. General web browsing has been fine, but weather.com has become a good test for lesser processors, and it certainly brings this one to a crawl.

Storage has about 13GB available after the first round of updates out of the box.

For me, this is a great buy to use for Remote Desktop. The full HD screen combined with the LAN, VGA, HDMI ports makes this a cheap travel/business computer if you use it for mostly RDP. The replaceable battery is another bonus after years of using ultrabooks. But if you are buying this as your main machine, you may be disappointed in performance.

5A decent Window machine for less that a Chromebook is amazing
By RHagan
An amazing value. I got it to replace a Chromebook with a failing screen that I use for email away from my office. I do most of my photo work on a Windows 7 Lenovo five years old, and did not expect this HP to do any heavy lifting, but found it faster and more powerful than the Lenovo. I learned from another review not to expand the memory but just got a 64g USB drive (a tiny Sandisk that Amazon offers with it) for extra storage. I expected to take that reviewer's recommendation to install a Windows 7 emulator but found I can live with Windows 10, just cleaning up the start screen of unwanted program tiles and building my own splash screen, like Windows 7's. The trackpad is so good that I do without a mouse.

The best comparison with my W7 Lenovo (8g ram, 500g internal drive, Intel i5 processor) I can offer is that I made a 34 minute "Movie" from 204 stills with a music track in Picasa (no longer supported by Google but a late version can be downloaded) and it completed it cleaner and without hiccups in the audio track; my Lenovo with Intel chips did not do as well. Screen is very good although shiny. The sensitive trackpad creates errors while I type because my hands brush it, so I cover it with a card during typing. I like having the two clicker buttons below the trackpad, meaning right-click is available without mystery. Glad to have three usb ports. With the HDMI port and a long cable I ran my slideshow with a long cable into a big tv for an audience, and will do it later with a projector.

Turns on in 15 seconds. Kekyboard feels good. Nice to have real function keys. Online videos run clean.

Compare to the Chromebook? I can now send photos easily linked to emals; never found a way to do that in the CB. And it has a DELETE key. Why Google copied Apple in eliminating that I never could understand.

To get a decent Window machine for less that a Chromebook is amazing. I read that Chromebooks are displacing Apples in school programs; this is probably aimed there. For upper level students, it would be a better choice.

5Appears to be upgradable.
By Stanburry Q. Smiley
Haven't used it yet. First thing I did was check to see if ram is expandable and hdd upgradable. Looks like yes to both as neither are soldered to board. I'm not sure where you get that kind of hdd though. It has an extra slot for a 2nd sick of ram too. Looks like you could add an optical drive if you are willing to modify the case by cutting into the plastic.

*edit below*
I have added a labeled picture of the board and also a picture of the SATA connection
I could not find a suitable replacement hard drive for this, if you know where I should look let me know, thanks!

3Great Little Printer (but be very careful*)
By Arron
I guess a month and a half of experiences is enough to write a review. I purchased this printer because my old printer (But newer model), the Officejet 8600 Pro had a ink leakage and I thought it would be a better investment to purchase a new printer because the ink is way too expensive and you when that ink could leak again. Anyways, this printer, overall, met my expectations. Me and my family use it at home to print, fax and scan on a daily basis and it does get the job done. BUT I did subtract a star for a reason. Lets start off with the Pros:

PROS:
-Nice and small, can fit in tight spots.
-Super easy to set up.
-Easy to use/understand touch screen interface.
-Ink is fairly cheap and only two ink cartridges are needed, a black cartridge and tri-color cartridge.

CONS:
-This printer does NOT have an Ethernet port. This is one of the biggest reasons I was hesitant to purchase this product because it makes scanning and printing a LOT faster. If you don't have access to wifi at all times, I wouldn't recommend purchasing this printer (but most likely you do).
-It takes a little long to print a page (compared to my old 8600 pro) but still prints fine.
-Ink runs out a quick, but its reasonable since the ink cartridges are so small.

To conclude, this is a great printer for it's price and the little cons won't really affect you too much unless you are printing for a business or need access to a printer 24/7. I do have one very important note:

*DO NOT sign up for the "HP Instant Ink" program advertised on the printer and its packaging. If you sign up for it and cancel your subscription anytime, the printer will get DISABLED!!

3Great print and scan functionality BUT HP tries to own you
By Texas Parents
Prints well and I like the "scan to My Documents" feature. However, I have over 30 years of professional technical experience with computers and I was amazed that setting this printer up was a very convoluted experience. It should not be that way. I blame the the complexity on HP's desire to install as much of their software as possible on my computer. I don't want an HP Support Assistant or Product Assistant or any of your "pop-ups" when printing. The first few times I printed to the new printer I would get a pop-up telling me I had genuine HP print cartridges and reminding me to sign up for the free trial of Instant Ink program. I just want to print ... and I want a minimal footprint ... just the drivers please ... it's my computer, I get to load on it what I want, not you HP! I bought your printer and I'm using your ink ... now leave me alone. Just Google "hp printer pop-ups" ... I'm not the only one. A 20 minute install of a new printer turned in to a couple of hours of research for HP settings and un-installing non-essential software.

3Good printer, but slow. Small ink cartridges. Instant Ink is a creepy solution to HP's diminishing profits
By J.C.
This is a review of the HP 4650 all-in-one-printer.

Update 11/27/15
Today, while using the ink cartridges that were supplied with the printer, the printer decided that the color cartridge was not compatible with it. It gave me an error message about the incompatibility instead of printing. I tried a couple different things to get it to print but to no avail; I had to replace the "offending" cartridge.

Original 3 star review:

First off, as a printer it is really quite nice, albeit it will not win any speed contests. It is kind of average in printing speed and downright slow when printing photos. To change to draft mode, you need to install the software and change the setting from there. You cannot do it on the printer itself nor can you change that setting with an iThing. But at least it is changeable and draft mode is quicker than standard mode and more than adequate for quality of print. The print quality from this machine is very good. In addition to all the text and draft mode pictures I print, I printed a black and white picture in standard mode and although it took quite a while, the print itself was quite impressive—clear and vivid.

The printer is very easy to set up use with an iThing. It took hardly any time to remove all the packing material and blue tape, and to set it up on my wireless network. Note that if you connect to the priner with an Ethernet cable, the wireless functions are automatically disabled.

To print with my laptop required downloading the software (it does come with a software disk, too). Once I had the software installed I was prompted to set up an HPConnected account. The HPConnected account is how HP keeps track of how much you use the printer, what types of documents you print, etc. The disclosures of what you are agreeing to is really a bit daunting. Nonetheless, HP, like other printer manufacturers, have been selling printers for cheap for years, while making their profits on the ink. This isn’t a bad business model, but for us consumers it is frustrating to pay nearly as much for ink as for a new printer altogether, so a lot of people have started buying third party ink for cheap. To stem this tide, Epson has come out with more expensive printers that have huge ink wells instead of cartridges. HP’s solution to the profit exodus is to have you subscribe to what they call “instant ink”. You sign up for 50, 100, or 300 pages of printing per month and you can roll over up to one month’s worth of pages to the next month. (Look at their instant ink webiste for more details about pricing and how it works.) If you go over your allotment, you pay extra. Your printer reports back to HP how much you are printing and when it anticpates you will soon be in need of more ink, they will ship it to you like magic. Very cool on the one hand, very creepy on the other. The printer comes with a three month free subscription, if you sign up during your initial software setup of the printer. You don’t have to sign up at all, and can purchase ink as you go, as always. The cartridges (two: one color, one black), appear to me to be rather small. It uses size 63, which is very new. I suspect they made them small so that you would be encouraged to sign up for the instant ink subscription instead of replacing cartridges on your own.

I like the printer as a printer, but the small ink cartridges, and the “instant ink” subscription alternative are both seriously off-putting.'

Additional info--current as of 11/5/15:
The three stars were for performance, not Instant Ink. For $100, you get an HP all in one that will print "up to" 190 pages with a standard set of ink cartridges. It prints about 10 ppm ISO, and has a max resolution of 4800 x 1200, and has a 100-sheet paper tray. To purchase replacements for the ink cartridges will cost you $36 [you are not required to subscribe to instant ink]. However, for a $130 for an Epson XP-810, you get better max resolution at 5760 x 1440, 14ppm ISO, 250-sheet paper tray, and up to 250 pages per set of cartridges at $37 per set. For $75, you can get a Canon MX922 (slightly older but still available model), that will give you better resolution yet at 9600 x 2400 (color, less for just B&W), print speed similar to the HP, 250-sheet paper tray, and about 300 pages per set of ink cartridges at $38 per set. Of course there are many other printers available as well, these are just some I am familiar with for comparison.

5There is NO BETTER VALUE in laptops....Period!! I stake my 20 hours of research on it! ACER killed it with this one!
By Honest
Let me paint a picture:My background is in purchasing, I am a research nerd. I used to spend in excess of 50 million a year for the largest retailer of its kind in my industry, I am obsessive when comparing details and am even more obsessed with getting every last ounce of value for my money. I am not the most tech savvy person you will ever meet, but I believe I am above average, and I also believe I am a realistic person with regards to my expectations. This is a fantastic laptop for the majority of people, I do not intend to do heavy gaming or run heavy/complex programs. This laptop is like the F-150 of laptops (sorry Chevy fans) , yes some people need an F-250 or even F-350 for towing/hauling, but for most people an F-150 is all they will ever need.

With that said, I spent about 20 working hours comparing over 400 laptops (nerd) from all major brands, and looked at over 300 deals(super nerd) offered on laptops by all major retailers on both black friday and cyber monday. I chose this laptop for $329 on cyber monday, and although it was only $20 off, versus others that were $200 or more off, this was still the most computer for the money.

Here is why to buy this laptop:
1) Newest Kaby Lake generation 7 Intel processor, low 15 watt usage and great speed for the price. Runs quiet and cool.

2) DDR4 ram, again the latest and greatest, also happens to be the cheapest ram available. Ram prices have an inverse relationship to normal consumer priced goods. Most things cost more when new, but because PC components become obsolete so quickly, when ram is first introduced this is the product being currently manufactured, which in turn means supply can easily exceed demand, which means lower prices. Once ram is no longer being actively manufactured the supply dries up and prices increase. Also ram can EASILY be added to this laptop, takes less than 5 minutes and costs exactly $24.99 for the best available, here is the link to the 4GB stick I added: https://www.amazon.com/Ballistix-16GBx2-PC4-19200-SODIMM-260-Pin/dp/B01DGOF6GE?th=1
***Additional note about ram, I chose to purchase an additional stick of 4gb rather than a 8gb or 16gb. There is a phenomenon known as "dual channel" with regards to ram, the concept is that if you have 2 like sticks of ram (they need to match in a few tech specs), in the exact same size, ie: 2 sticks of 4gb of ram, your pc will be able to access both sticks of ram at the same time. If you have 2 mismatched sticks, like a 4gb and an 8gb, then the pc will access only 1 at a time. Therefore after talking to a computer genius friend of mine and doing about an hours research on this specific application, my best guess is that the extra money on the 8gb stick of ram would be a waste, two 4gb sticks of dual channel ram will out perform a 4gb and 8gb stick together for most applications. Also please note that for 99% of users 8gb of ram total is plenty. My personal opinion of adding more than 8gb of ram to this specific laptop would be like putting the most expensive Z rated tires on your honda accord, yes the tires might be rated for 200mph, but will you ever utilize it? If you do want to have more than 8gb of ram total, I would recommend purchasing 2 identical sticks of 8gb or 16gb ram to utilize dual channel.

3) Full 1080 HD LED back lit (vs LCD) Screen, pretty much unheard of for this price. LED backlit biggest advantage is it uses less energy, thus better battery life. Also has a matte finish screen, I prefer the look of a glossy screen (good for a desktop in a controlled lighting environment), but because laptops travel with you to different places, you often times have reflection problems with a glossy screen.

4) Battery life, best battery life you can get for anywhere close to 3x the cost of this pc. Please know that 12 hours is in best case scenario, meaning lowest screen brightness, and NOT playing videos or games or other CPU intensive tasks. Based on my first week of use I feel comfortable planning on a solid 7 to 10 hours of normal use. Please note that the battery is not easily removed, as one reviewer put, "let your future self worry about that". ****Note on battery, ACER has a specific process for breaking in your battery. If you do not follow it you WILL limit its potential. If you are too lazy to find the manual online here is my summary of what they say: Charge laptop to full (charge light turns to blue) before you ever turn it on. Then leave the laptop plugged in while the computer updates, it will not update and boot up the first time without being plugged in. As soon as updates are completed unplug the laptop and use the PC until the battery is almost dead. Then charge it to full and immediately unplug and discharge to near empty. Do this cycle a total of 3 times to condition your battery for its best longevity.

5) Back LIT keyboard, there is no other laptop back of $800 that offers a backlit keyboard that I could find. This means the keys light up when one is pushed, you will absolutely love this feature if you have never had it. Also the keys are crisp but very easy to use, I love them.

6) Easily upgrade-able. I will briefly touch on this, because other reviews have done a fine job of addressing it. Basically to turn this PC from great to ridiculously amazing do 2 things. The first is add ram (although mine operated for almost a week very well on the stock 4GB). The second is add a SSD or Solid State Hard Drive. To make a long story short the motherboard for this PC has 2 spots for a hard drive, the SATA and the m.2. The 1TB stock hard drive is installed on the sata slot. That means the m.2 slot is open. You can either purchase a traditional sata SSD and replace the existing hard drive, or purchase a m.2 SSD and have 2 hard drives. The latter is the option I chose, I am placing the operating system and programs on the SSD because it is much quicker, and I will place files (Photos, games, music, movies) on the stock drive. ***If you decide to pull the stock hard drive, you can purchase a usb case for it and turn it into an external hard drive that connects via usb cable.

7) Newest AC wifi technology for fastest speeds

8) All the other tech stuff you want like usb 3, hdmi, CD RW drive, blah blah blah.

9) Fit and finish is excellent. Speakers are also stupid good for this price range.

Reason's to not buy:
1) You need more of a workhorse PC
2) You print money in your basement and don't care about value
3) You don't like Henry Fords philosophy of "you can have any color you like as long as it is black", because this PC only comes in the 1 color.

Conclusion: Sometimes, and much more rarely than you would think, a manufacturer actually listens to customers and gives them everything they want at a great price. This laptop is a unicorn in the fact that it has ALL SOLID FEATURES, with 2 potentially weak spots for some users (ram and hard drive). But these are easily upgraded, and the truth is (regardless of what tech nerds might argue), 4gb of ram, and the included hard drive are more than adequate for the majority of users. The only real question you have to ask yourself is do you have the patience to wait, or will you pony up for 1 day shipping?

5This is a great all around laptop if you are trying to find ...
By Amazon-er
This is a great all around laptop if you are trying to find something in the budget range, under $350.

At the time of this review, there are no i3 7th gen 2.4GHz laptops that offer 1TB hard drives, 32GB max memory, or 1920 x 1080 screens. Other things that I found on this model that are not on similarly priced units are RJ-45 ports (most units are wireless only), Dual-Band 2.4GHz & 5GHz wi-fi capable, or have backlit keyboards.

Few models in this price range have built in optical drives, 3.1 USB port, SD reader, or battery life claims of up to 12hrs like this Acer E575 Sig Ed laptop.

The computer does have a plastic feel to it, but no stranger than the plastic feel of an LG4 or Samsung Galaxy phone. Carrying the laptop, it feels sleek and solid. Accessing the RAM or HD is as simple as unscrewing a panel under the laptop.

Honestly, I do not know how the computer runs with 4GB RAM, because I bought a 16GB stick of RAM and now have 20GB. That and the usual "How Can I make Windows 10 run faster" tweaks make this laptop very responsive and meet my daughter's personal and academic needs.

The last laptop I bought her was in 2006, an HP HDX-18t CoreDuo 1.8GHZ Vista laptop. It lasted 10 years, up to her senior year in HS, and just died. It cost about 3x more, had 2hrs battery life, and weighed 6+lbs. With college coming next fall, I needed something to meet her needs and my budget. Her current uses for this laptop are web surfing, Netflix/Youtube binge watching, Internet Radio, Skyping, heavy Excel sheets (+50 pages & calculations or more), Matlab, SPSS Statistics 20 for Windows.

Although this is a budget laptop, it does not stick out in appearance or performance when she's studying with friends that have expensive Apple laptops or higher end notebooks. It isn't a gaming laptop, but she does run BlueStacks to play some Android games.

You've got to be crazy to pass on this laptop if the main selling point for you is having 1yr MS Office or not, like I have read in other reviews. Libre Office is free and the hardware is a good value. Maybe later this year or next year (it's Oct 2016), competitors will come out with more comparative offerings, but if you need a notebook >now< , this is your best bet.

Two criticisms my daughter does have about this model, is 1) the palm rest (area below the keyboard) attracts fingerprints and is showing some wear. Would be nice it it were textured like the exterior of the laptop.2) If the RJ-45 port cover could flex, retract, or hinge more. It's a very tight fit and feels like the port cover will snap in two, every time it is pushed down.

Hope this review helps people who don't have much to spend, thanks Acer for putting good value in the market!

5Incredible Deal, easy to upgrade to max performance.
By Stephen Van Vuuren
This model (1TB HD, 4GB RAM) is the best buy in low budget laptops for many reasons. I was prepared to return it but it's exceeded my expectations. First, it has features almost never found in even sub $800 unit much less $329 - backlight keyboard, 1920 x 1080 display and upgradable/replaceable storage. For those reasons alone, it's a 5 star machine.

It has a M2 slot accessible without violating warranty on bottom. I ordered it with $70 Crucial 275GB M2 SSD and additional 4GB RAM ($29) from Kingston (what it came with). So now for $429 I have a 15" Kaby Lake I3 with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and 1TB second drive with backlit keys and Full 1080p display and HD 620 Intel Graphics - better for video playback than 520. I could not find something close to this used much less new.

And the other aspects are good as well. Keyboard is comfortable, number keybad is nice for my work, backlit works well (if on/off proximity function does not bug you, it does not me). Trackpad works better than I expected.

Screen is a TN panel (1080P IPS would probably double the price). So viewing angles are not great and contrast is just okay. But for single person use it's good by budget panel features with better than expected color accuracy and a blue light filter that reduces strain.

The chassis has a nice faux brushed metal look and more rigid than most sub $400 plastic models. Weight is so so - not heavy not light for a 15.6". Sound from speakers was also better than I expected in this price range.

Bloatware on my model was minimal. BIOS is bare bones but easily accessible to change boot drive etc. And you get full ports without ultrabook dongles. And with my upgrades, model posted a 2900 Single Core Geekbench and 5800 multicore. Again, very good for a machine in this price range.

I've had it for a week - will update long term use - but right now it's a winner. For the money, you can't find a better deal on a 15.6" HD with backlit.

EDIT. Update. Everything is worked as stated above - nothing has changed. Battery life is impressive even with adding RAM and SSD. The only real quibbles is backlight timing is annoying and viewing angles are not ideal (not a great group laptop). But considering nothing at this prices even has backlight or 1080p screens, you would need to move to $500 or more model to improve. I would buy this again at the price without hesitation.

5Finally found a great reading light!
By David and Diana
[[VIDEOID:4b74306ab73ff341ae96fabadae17411]]My wife has been complaining about every small reading light we have tried but she likes this one! It is able to clamp onto our headboard (see last photo) and not just a book she was reading which is what we were looking for along with much brighter LED's than her previous book light.

UPDATED REVIEW (FEB. 11, 2017) - We received the new and improved model of this reading light and are very pleased with the improvements. It now comes with a cable having a micro USB type connector on the end that plugs into the light instead of the non-standard Barrel type connector. It also comes with a USB to 120VAC adapter module. The USB plug may be a little tight when plugging it into the base of the light the first time and will stop short of plugging in flush with the plastic housing in the base of the light - but that is not a problem, I just want you to be aware of this so you don't try to force it in further than the mating connector is designed for.

The plastic lens cover over the LEDs is now a frosted (milky) type which diffuses the light giving it a softer and more even light distribution. There are now color LED indicators which tell you when the battery is still charging and when charging is complete as well as the charge level (power remaining) in the battery.

I've updated the photos in this review and added one video. In the first photo you will see a close-up of one of the two light "heads" showing the new frosted lens over the LEDs which help diffuse the light much like a frosted light bulb. In the second photo you will see a comparison of the relative light brightness (intensity) between full (highest) brightness in the top "head" and the dimmest (lowest) brightness in the lower "head".

In the third photo you will see the charging status LED glowing red indicating the battery is charging but is not fully charged yet. The fourth photo shows the LED has now turned blue indicating a fully charged battery.

The fifth photo shows both LED light "heads" set at maximum brightness and shining their light on a bookshelf full of DVD movie cases in a totally dark room. Note the labels are easily read and the colors are very natural (not yellow-tinted or blueish tinted).

The video demonstrates the battery charge level indicator LED. This is activated by holding down the power button on one of the LED light "heads" for a few seconds. In this video the battery is above 75% charge level because the light pulses in a pattern of four flashes then a pause then four flashes again then a pause. After several seconds it will stop until you push and hold the power button again. The booklet explains the battery charge level indicated by three flashes, two flashes, or a single flash pattern.

In summary we think this is the best bang for the buck for a reading light or piano book light and we highly recommend it.

4Very nice light for bedtime reading; recommended by our preschooler! - with one tiny catch.
By Amazon Customer
I've had this a couple of days and so far I really like it.

GOOD:
- The warm light is actually warm. Most LEDs shed a cool blue light that interferes with sleep; this one doesn't! BRAVO!
- Good light spread. There's no spotlight effect.
- On, Low, and High settings. Low is low enough for bedtime. High is high enough to be plenty bright as a reading light for other times, as long as the lamps are within a reasonable distance of the reading surface.
- Very flexible stalks for the lamps. Easy to reposition; they hold their position and don't sag.
- Rechargeable.
- Charger and very long power cord included.
- "Silky pouch" - this is a really nice way of keeping everything together.

BAD:
- The power cord and plug are not micro-USB. If not for this I'd give this five stars. I would urge the manufacturers to rethink this for future models - a standard jack and cord (micro-USB or USB-C) should be used unless there's a compelling safety or electrical-engineering reason not to.

I bought this for two purposes
1. to use as a book light
2. to use as a dim bedroom light

It's done well for both of those needs. Our preschooler is starting to read, and he loves to read himself to sleep on his own, but the bedside lamps he uses would be too bright for bedtime. This gives us a portable lamp we can use for the bedtime routine. And anyway - he now loves the light so much he wants to requisition it for himself!

5Every night readers MUST have
By Lorrany
Can't believe I never reviewed this until now. If you're considering whether to buy it, just do it. It fits perfectly on textbook and small books. It is very bright and it's very helpful in reading at night. I use it to prepare for finals, I use it to read whenever I am hanging in my couch as its cable free. The battery lasts a lot. You can charge it once every two weeks and depending how you use it it can last anywhere from up to a week up into two weeks. Another cool thing about this light is that it's charger comes with two holes so you can plug in 2 cables; so you could simultaneously use and charge the light and you could charge your phone as well we using the same block.

5LOVE THIS! VERY QUIET :)
By Lauren Bolton
This is the best fan for my desk ever. Whoever worked my desk before me left a 4" Hawaiian breeze fan, and it was so terrible. It made a bunch of noise and was ugly.
This fan that I just purchased it great! It plugs right into the USB port on my desk top at work, and it is so quiet (compared to my previous one) so it doesn't bug anyone in the cubicle next to me! In the picture, one blade looks pink, but they're all the same color I swear, haha. It was just the glare of the lighting. This pic shows it next to an average sized water bottle.
Love this product, would definitely recommend and buy again.

5Great Little Fan
By Queri Marie
Needed a USB fan for at work to help keep the air flowing in my cubicle. I ordered this one, over the one's at BB& B or the other ones online because I have an over-whelming love for pink. This fan is powerful for it's size, and doesn't take up a lot of space. It does make a little bit of a whirr* noise, but it's pretty quiet and non-obtrusive.

I just wish it had more settings than just on/off.

5Great USB Powered Fan
By G. Swanson
This is the coolest little fan that has a large capacity to blow air. I was looking for a small USB powered fan that I could use at work as my office gets very hot in the afternoon as well as at other times. I also run swim meets and it gets very hot at the pool - the fan helps to keep us cool while sitting for so long! I was very impressed with the fan as it is all metal including metal blades. I did not want a fan with plastic housing and plastic blades. I also needed it to be powered by a USB port as plugs are not readily available. The fan housing is a nice shiny black and blades are silver. The USB cord is about 3 feet long. The fan itself is about 6 inches wide and 6 inches tall. It is quiet when running and surprisingly moves a lot of air. I like the fact that it is small, portable, and easy to move and use. I just plug it into the USB Port, press the on switch, and feel the comfort of a nice breeze! Overall, I am very pleased with this item and would buy it again. Reviewed by G. Swanson

5Just like other mobile flash drives
By Stanislav Sadykov
My phone always reminds me that I am out of space, and this flash lets me transfer out and save 64GB and free up my phone. This is really a life saver. Just like other mobile flash drives, you must download APP Access to the flash drive. You will be able to copy and save files easily. This is awesome! It does a great job, especially when playing videos and music, as well as viewing photos and documents. This is a great product for iPhones.

5Great little helper
By Valentina B
This little gadget is great. Accepts both SD and microSD, small enough to carry on your keychain, and has micro USB, USB3.0, and lightning connector. This is essentially a universal data transporter. And for the cost, it's bang for the buck. One of my favorite parts is how clever the micro USB is built in. It slides out of the USB3.0 port. One would think it would feel flimsy and cheap, but I have yet to feel like it would break with frequent use. Also comes with a 32GB SD card, so you can use it right out of the box without havingto buy anything or trying to find and SD card to spare. I wouldn't be surprised if their next version of thsi adapter includes a small battery pack inside the device, for emergency charge for your mobile. Very happy with purchase.

4Great device for secure two factor authentication - not for everyone
By Jeff
This is an excellent device and I strongly recommend it if you use a password manager that supports it (Last Pass, Dashlane, etc). The benefit of this device with a Password Manager is you can enable two factor authentication to add a new device capable of signing into your account. In short, it doesn't matter if someone knows you master password, they can't add a device (computer capable accessing your account) unless the have they have a Yubikey.

To add a phone or tablet that doesn't have a USB, use this device on a computer to temporarily disable the two factor Yubikey authentication, add your Device, then reable the key. I recommend getting a backup key or if your spouse or partner uses one, register both keys on each other's account. This will save headaches if the device is lost.

This security key has the ability to maintain two two security access methods, e.g., Smart Card and Fido U2F. Be aware this comes with no documentation at all! I mean none - while there is a lot of information on their website and on the Dashlane Password Manager website, you get the feeling that these products are aimed at a narrow group of IT savvy individuals or organizations with IT specialists to configure them for staff.

I hope this review is helpful!

5Get two if you are considering it.
By Tom is a nerd
I bought this to figure out how it worked. Its silly easy. Basically it can integrate with almost any authentication YOU own. As far as third party it can be made to work (easy) with anything that is always online. If your using it to authenticate to something offline it can do a challenge response and the configuration seems quite secure.

You already know its practically indestructible.

Love it, you probably don't need this newest nicest one, but I do strongly recommend getting two, and configuring them with your services at the same time, that way if the key is lost or stolen you don't have to jump through password recovery hoops.

5Yubikey + LastPass for the win!
By R. Seehoffer
With the stories of hacking and stolen credentials showing up every day in my news feed (including today, Banner Health) I decided to be a little proactive and combine my Lastpass account with a Yubikey. The key arrived today and took about 10 minutes to set up and test on all my devices. Easy as could be, with all of the info on the Lastpass and Yubi sites. With this kind of simplicity, there's no reason not to use multi-factor authentication. Next, I will work on configuring my Google accounts...

Update: Just a couple more pieces of info for anyone interested. I used the YubiKey Personalization Tool for Windows to insert a static password into what they call Slot 2, to use with a different service. That worked as expected, once I watched a quick video on how to configure the software and key. I could not get the same software to work with Linux, no matter what I did. Also, the YubiKey works well in conjunction with a Nexus tablet and an OTG cable. The only thing I found is, you must be touching the device with one hand while placing your finger on the Yubi, or it won't register your touch. Just FYI...
