- Small, though slightly larger than point and shoots
- I honestly use my dSLR less and less
- flipping up the screen automatically turns on camera and a mode that smooths skin. Pretty amazing.
- You press the Mobile button, select "select photos from camera" it creates a wifi that I select on my phone, once connected (takes seconds) I open the Samsung app on my phone and send the photos I want on over. I can very quickly post photos from the camera to Instagram which is awesome.
- Very intuitve. Easiest to use camera I've ever had.
- Editing modes built right into the camera are as good as any photo editing app I have.
- Auto mode actually selects from various built in modes for you, and the built in modes are pretty awesome and specific.
- photo quality is so awesome, I was so surprised.
- Focuses quickly

Con's
- I wish there were more WIFI options like uploading straight to iCloud or Picasa. With the touchscreen versions there is an option or direct to Facebook, I haven't found that's true on the NX3000 so far but I don't think so.
- I wish there was a little dongle for the lens cap, it is so tiny! I bought one from eBay by searching "lens cap holder"
- MicroSD. Yikes, I'm going to lose so many of these lol. Make sure to get a high speed one (10x I think is the fastest?)
- I wish the screen also turned all the way around like my Canon T3i, so that it remains protected. I bought screen covers and a case but still.

The Processor in the camera is crazy! 28MP 15FPS RAW images is awesome. Autofocus for photo is really nice in good light. In low light if your focusing on a dark area it will hunt and not find focus. This instantly reminded me of the 5d mark 2 that was not known for good autofocus. I believe this can be fixed with firmware update, and this may be the reason release was pushed back 3 times. The Canon EOS M (also Mirrorless) had horrible autofocus at launch but got much better after a firmware update. I really like the sound of the shutter on the camera. Best I've heard so far. Nice quiet and a low sound not loud and higher pitch like other I've used. I wish my 5d2 had this shutter when I was shooting weddings.

Lets get into video. First I'll mention the autofocus during video isn't perfect like the 70D but is better than anything else i've used. It does have that same focusing issue in really low light like with photo. You can also touch to focus and it works well but at this time its more of an abrupt fast change, instead of smooth transition like the 70D. I hope samsung fixes this soon.

The Camera supports C4k,UHD 4k, 1080P up to 120FPS, and other smaller formats. It records all this in either "PRO" which is 80mbps or another option which is 40mbps. It used the new h.265 coded which is an awesome codec BUT no real editors support it yet meaning you need to convert the footage to either H.264, ProRes, or another format. The software Samsung provides sucks, I purchased wondershare and its A LOT better, and is surprisingly efficient. Samsung made a big mistake not including another format for people to use until editing software gains native support for h.265.

The 4k footage looks great. The image is nice and the colors in the standard setting (picture profile off) look good! There is no flap profile yet but I suspect this will be added with the popularity of S-Log in the A7s and Panasonic putting one out for the GH4. The 120fps image looks great! Just as good as 1080P in 30FPS which is awesome as the GH4's 96fps is really bad, and looks like 720P upscaled to 1080 with lots of aliasing and moire added and details lost. I'm really surprised by this, if 120FPS is something you need this may be enough to get this camera.

Low light looks good for a APS-C sensor, better than others but worse than modern full frames like 5D3. In video the NX1 is about 1 stop better over the GH4 under 3200iso. The GH4 has visible noise at 200iso which a lot of people complain about, where the NX1's noise starts to become visible at 800iso. At 3200 and 6400 (limit for video in nx1 & gh4) the GH4 performs better, this is most likely because the GH4's noise looks more monochrome and film grain like, where the NX1's noise is more "wavy" and digital looking like the Canon cameras. This was surprising to me!

1. The zoom: Fantastic! Typically when you zoom in as far as the camera will allow, the pictures come out grainy or blurry - with this camera, you can zoom in all the way and the picture will still come out crystal clear.
2. Photo options/modes: There are a lot of option/modes for the type of picture you want to take. For example, there is a smart auto mode, a night mode, a firework mode (I was skeptical about this one, however, I used it for the 4th of July and I got some of the best firework pictures I have ever taken.), a landscape/scenery mode, a macro mode for up close photography, an action freeze mode for matter in fast motion, a silhouette mode, a sunset mode, a light trace mode for long exposure photos at night, and a beauty face mode that corrects facial blemishes when a portrait photo is taken. Along with all of the photo modes, videos can also be taken.
3. The charger: I had read some reviews saying they didn't receive a charger. I find this odd. I received a charger that can plug into the wall or into my computer. The cord is about 1.5 feet long which is great because it's easy to store and there isn't anything to trip over when you plug it into the wall.
4. Uploading options: There are many options to upload the pictures to other devices. Along with the WIFI function where I can upload the pictures directly to my mobile phone (LOVE IT!), my camera came with an SD card and a SD Card Reader. The microSD card can be inserted into either. The SD card can then be inserted directly into my laptop or computer allowing quick transfer of photos. The SD Card Reader can be inserted into any USB port for equally fast uploading speed.
5. Battery life: I don't know exactly how long my battery lasts, however, I brought this camera with me for a long weekend in Washington DC and I didn't have to use the charger once. I took pictures at memorials, restaurants, the zoo, etc. and the battery didn't even come close to dying.

14.2-Megapixel Backside-Illuminated CMOS Sensor

The WB250F is equipped with a 14.2-megapixel backside-illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor that gathers more light than conventional sensors. This allows you to take properly exposed images in low-light situations. With the Low Light Shot feature, the camera will automatically merge three continuous shots into one clear photo.

Sharp 18x Zoom Lens Provides Plenty of Range

The built-in lens has an 18x zoom range so you can easily frame the exact shot you want and get in close to the action when necessary. The lens starts at a wide 35mm-equivalent focal length of 24mm and zooms all the way to 432mm. () The weight of the camera (including the battery and a memory card) is 7.3 ounces.

() The size of still-image files (jpeg) is between 4MB and 5MB.

() The camera needs a reasonably modern memory card. If you have an older card (say, Class 2), it may be too slow, especially if you are planning to make movies.

() The flash has a manual pop-up button, and then needs to be manually "folded" back into the camera, which a minor inconvenience. The camera does not pop it automatically.
